Reverend Emily Leatherbarrow has worked for Global Servants since 2003. Graduating from Southeastern University in 2004, Emily received her Bachelor’s of Science in Church Leadership. During her time at Southeastern she started an on-campus Bible study, completed the collegiate Master’s Commission program, and worked as an interim youth pastor. Emily first received her ordination with the Assemblies of God in 2006 and is now ordained with the International Ministerial Fellowship.

Reverend Leatherbarrow volunteered with Youth for Christ in Lakeland, FL from 2004 to 2006 where she served as the campus pastor for both a juvenile detention center and a sheriff’s youth villa. Her responsibilities as campus pastor included preaching, recruiting and equipping volunteers and counseling with both girls and staff.

Emily is the Director of House of Grace for Global Servants. Since 2004 she has managed and developed our overseas staff, overseen several international building projects and coordinated fundraising for the ministry. Emily also serves as the primary contact for Global Servants’ sponsors and donors.

Emily recently began a mentorship with Marilyn Hickey who is offering her wisdom and guidance in ministry. In addition to her overseas work, domestically Emily preaches the gospel, teaches on healing and officiates weddings. Emily is married to James Leatherbarrow and they reside in Lawrenceville, GA with their two daughters, Juliet and Camille and son, Everett.

"Emily has such a passion to pray for the sick. She has such a passion for the nations. I see a very special anointing on her and I want in every way to encourage her. I believe God is going to open unusual doors for her and I believe she will enter them and see miracles that will glorify Jesus. The healing ministry is so needed throughout the world and Emily is called and anointed for such a time as this." - Marilyn Hickey

Global Servants

Global Servants was founded by Dr. Mark Rutland in 1977 as a worldwide, nonprofit missions and ministry organization. He started this ministry with the desire to see lives changed by the power and truth of God’s Word. For more than a quarter of a century, the men and women of Global Servants have risen to the call and gone into the world to preach the good news and spread the love of God. READ MORE.
