Celebrating the 2023 High School Graduates of House of Grace–Ghana

Global Servants

A Milestone Achievement

House of Grace–Ghana, a ministry of Global Servants, is proud to celebrate an incredible milestone: all three of our 2023 high school graduates have been accepted into universities to continue their education. With their acceptance, five young women from House of Grace are now pursuing higher education—a powerful testimony to God’s faithfulness and the transformative impact of education.

Continuing Their Education Journey

Two graduates have been admitted to Garden City University in Duase, the same community where Duase Trinity Foundation Church is located. One graduate has been accepted into Kwaime Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, close to the House of Grace.

They join a growing group of House of Grace students in higher education. One student is already in her second year at KNUST, and another began her studies at Yendi Nursing Training College this fall. Together, these young women represent the bright future made possible through the support, prayers, and generosity of friends like you.

Equipped for Success

Because of that generosity, each student has been equipped with a laptop and essential resources as they begin their journey into higher education. These tools not only give them the ability to succeed in their studies but also prepare them to pursue the God-given destinies that lie ahead.

Why Education Matters

At House of Grace–Ghana, we believe education is one of the most powerful ways to break cycles of poverty and prevent human trafficking. Every graduate is living proof that when young women are given safety, opportunity, and hope, they can rise to change their world.

How You Can Help

You can be part of this life-changing work. By supporting House of Grace through an online donation, you help provide education, safety, and opportunity for the next generation of girls in Ghana.

Thank you for standing with us and for praying over these young women as they take this important step forward. Together, we are helping them build brighter futures for themselves, their families, and their communities.

A Note from Travis Rutland

As I reflect on the incredible accomplishments of the young women at House of Grace–Ghana, I am reminded once again of God’s faithfulness and the power of your support. These girls have overcome challenges that many of us can hardly imagine, and now they are stepping boldly into higher education with hope and determination. None of this would be possible without your prayers and generosity. Thank you for believing in them and for standing with Global Servants as we continue to educate, equip, and empower the next generation.

At Global Servants, we believe clean water should never be a privilege—it is a basic need and a God-given right. Through our Clean Water Initiative, we are providing families with simple yet powerful filtration systems that transform unsafe water into safe, drinkable water. How the Filtration System Works Each system uses gravity to push water through an advanced filter specifically designed to remove 99.9999% of bacteria, protozoa, and cysts, as well as 100% of microplastics. With just a standard container and a drilled opening, this system can provide safe drinking water for a family in minutes. The kit includes: A high-capacity filter Drill bit for setup Filter hanger and hose Adapters and connection pieces A backwashing device for cleaning Instruction sticker for easy care Whether families draw water from a muddy river or catch rainwater in a cistern, the system ensures harmful pathogens are removed. Even heavily contaminated water becomes safe to drink, though cleaning the filter more often is recommended when muddy water is used. Built to Last One of the most remarkable features of this system is its durability. Each filter can process up to 100,000 gallons of water, providing families in need with many months of safe drinking water. In fact, filters like these are already in use in over 100 countries. Some have been operating effectively for more than a decade. Every filter is tested three times during the production process, sealed for safety, and individually inspected to ensure consistent quality. Extensive testing means that when we deliver a system to a family, we can trust that it will provide reliable, life-changing clean water.

A Commitment to Integrity and Responsible Stewardship Global Servants is proud to announce that we have received renewed accreditation from the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) for 2025. This accreditation reflects our ongoing commitment to uphold the highest standards of financial integrity, accountability, and transparency in every aspect of our ministry. The ECFA accreditation is awarded only to organizations that meet the Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship, which include sound financial management, responsible governance, transparency, and ethical fundraising practices. Michael Martin, President and CEO of ECFA, congratulated Global Servants: “Stories of triumph begin with trust. Your ongoing commitment to ECFA's Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship signals to a watching world that yours is a ministry worth trusting.” For more than four decades, Global Servants has sought to honor God by serving people through ministries in West Africa and Southeast Asia — including the Houses of Grace, Clean Water Initiatives, Education Programs, and Evangelism and Leadership Development. This accreditation is a meaningful reminder that integrity and stewardship are foundational to every mission we undertake. “For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of man.” — 2 Corinthians 8:21 (NIV) Why This Matters When you give to Global Servants, you can do so with confidence knowing that your gifts are managed with integrity and used to advance the Gospel and transform lives. ECFA accreditation affirms that Global Servants is committed to responsible stewardship in every donation, project, and outreach effort.
