A team from First Methodist Church of Tulsa, Oklahoma, recently partnered with Global Servants and local churches in Honduras for several days of evangelism, discipleship, leadership training, and community outreach.
Throughout the visit, the team witnessed lives touched by the Gospel, new believers coming to Christ, and churches working together to share God's love with their communities. The visiting team joined local pastors, ministry leaders, and members of Templo Evangélico Emanuel (TEE) to encourage believers, strengthen church partnerships, and reach communities with the message of Jesus Christ.

Equipping Leaders to Make Disciples
The ministry began with a special gathering at Templo Evangélico Emanuel. Coordinators and leaders from several churches came together for a time of training, fellowship, and spiritual encouragement. The gathering focused on strengthening the work of evangelism and discipleship by equipping local leaders with encouragement and practical guidance for ministry. It also provided an opportunity for church leaders to learn from one another, share experiences, and renew their commitment to reaching their communities for Christ. One of the greatest strengths of Global Servants' work in Honduras is the partnership with local churches. By investing in pastors and ministry leaders, we are helping strengthen the foundation for ongoing ministry that continues long after visiting teams return home.
Sharing the Gospel with the Next Generation
Education and spiritual development are important parts of the Global Servants ministry in Honduras. During their visit, the team from First Methodist Church had the opportunity to spend time with students participating in our English classes.
Team members shared the Gospel and encouraged students to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The gathering provided a meaningful opportunity for fellowship, conversation, and spiritual encouragement.
As the team continued ministering to students, they witnessed an especially meaningful response. Several students responded to the Gospel message and made decisions to give their lives to Christ. These moments remind us that our educational programs are about much more than teaching English or developing practical skills. They also create opportunities to build relationships, share the love of Christ, and help young people discover the hope and purpose found in Him.
Taking the Gospel into Honduran Villages
The team also partnered with local congregations for evangelistic outreach in Tronconeras, La Cooperativa, Campo Verde, San Roque, 6 de Mayo, and Gran Villa. Working alongside members of Templo Evangélico Emanuel and other churches, they visited communities, prayed with families, and shared the message of salvation. Another highlight was an evangelistic crusade hosted by Ebenezer Church of Nueva Campana. Churches came together for worship, intercession, and prayer, with local ministry leaders reporting testimonies of salvation, healing, and miracles. These outreach efforts demonstrated the power of churches working together to reach people with the Gospel and encourage believers in their faith.
Sharing the Gospel throughout Honduras.
While the visiting team spent only a short time in Honduras, the relationships and ministry partnerships established through Global Servants continue throughout the year. Through education, leadership development, evangelism, and discipleship, local churches are being equipped to make a lasting difference in their communities. We are grateful to First Methodist Church of Tulsa, the faithful pastors and ministry leaders in Honduras, and the generous supporters who make this work possible. Most importantly, we thank God for every life touched and every person who responded to the Gospel.
