From House of Grace to Higher Education: A New Chapter Begins

Global Servants

Sometimes, the impact of a mission is suddenly clear—years of prayer and faithful support coming together in a powerful outcome.

Today, we celebrate one of those moments.

Four young women from House of Grace-Ghana—Esther, Martha, Paulina, and Zuwera—have officially matriculated, stepping into a new season as university students. This is more than an academic milestone.  It is the fulfillment of hope, the fruit of perseverance, and a powerful testimony of what God can do through faithful partnership.

A Journey That Began with Hope

Each of these young women came to House of Grace-Ghana from challenging circumstances. What they found was more than shelter—they found a home. A place where they were known, loved, and given the opportunity to grow.

At House of Grace, they received:

  • A safe and nurturing environment
  • Access to quality education
  • Spiritual guidance rooted in the Gospel
  • Mentorship that helped shape their character and confidence

Day by day, year by year, they grew—not only in knowledge, but in faith and purpose.

The Power of Education and Determination

In Ghana, the path to higher education is not easy. Students must pass rigorous national exams such as the Basic Education Certificate Examination (B.E.C.E.) and the West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) to qualify for university admission.

Esther, Martha, Paulina, and Zuwera worked hard to get to this point.

They studied late, overcame obstacles, and stayed committed to their goals. With determination and support, they reached a moment that once may have felt impossible:

They have been accepted into college.

To matriculate is to be formally enrolled—to step across the threshold into a future filled with opportunity. And that is exactly what they have done.

More Than a Milestone—A Mission Fulfilled

Their achievement represents something far greater than individual success.

It is a reflection of:

  • Faithful donors who believed in their future
  • Teachers and staff who invested in their growth
  • A mission committed to transforming lives through education and the Gospel

Each of these young women now carries the potential to impact her family, her community, and her nation. They are not just students. They are leaders in the making.

Easter Sunday in Ghana is a powerful and joyful expression of the Christian faith. Across the country, believers gather in churches, homes, and communities to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and proclaim the victory He secured over death and the grave. For Christians in Ghana, Easter is more than a holiday on the calendar. It is a sacred reminder that hope is alive, salvation is secure, and Christ is risen indeed.
